how the ones you love the most
can turn their back on you the worst.
that alcoholism and pregnancy out of wedlock
can all be forgiven
but not being true to one's self.
the things you'd never thought would happen
can come on you in an instant.
how many friends you thought would turn their back
are there with open arms, accepting and loving.
the thought that this might be permanent
that they may never come around.

Well we can never know how their final reaction will be, but I'm in the same boat as you and I know it is hard to stay optimistic. I'm with you 100% there girl so I cannot say "All will be OK" because I don't know! All I can say is that I've found family is more then blood relatives, it is those that support you and want the best for you.

Continue to Love the ones you have loved for we have this hope that they will see the love and the peace and the joy in you. But Sophia is right, your real family is more than blood, but is Spirit.

Shannon has great advice too, it is something I do even though I'm not optimistic about their final view of me, in that I'll still love them even if I may be frustrated and hurt by them.
